This week"s Dyno Blast video features a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS fitted up with the Hennessey Performance Equipment HPE 600 package. This package opens up the 6.2L LT1 engine and adds CNC ported cylinder heads, a heavily beef up valvetrain, an upgraded camshaft, 1.75 inch long tube headers, a stainless steel exhaust system and the tuning needed to lift the output from 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque to 631 horsepower and 565 lb-ft of torque at the transmission. How does that power translate to wheel horsepower? Well, the video below shows the HPE600 Camaro SS on the dyno and after a quick blast, we see that this new Chevy muscle car lays down an awesome 526 horsepower and 471 lb-ft of torque. This same car made 426 horsepower and 427 lb-ft of torque at rear wheels, so the HPE package adds around 100 wheel horsepower and 50 lb-ft of wheel torque.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: 2016 Camaro, 6th Gen Camaro, camaro, Dyno Blast, HPE, LT1
