Each time McLaren releases a new car, the lads and lasses at MSO McLaren"s Special Operations division get hold of one and give it a specially designed livery to show what they can do. Think of it as an advert for their bespoke services. This then, is their attempt at the 720S Spider, and it reportedly took the team over 260 hours to complete the paintjob. While it may look pretty restrained, the accents are supposed to highlight the advanced aerodynamics of the Spider and are a tri-tone mix of Cerulean Blue, Burton Blue and Abyss Black paints on top of a Meteorite Grey base colour.
