As many of you know I use to do quite a bit of programming, worked in London before 2000 writing games for the PS2 and PC. I've done a few bits mainly applications for the PC since then. I've always wanted to write another game when I get the time. Just a simple one for the arcade, something club related.
It could be a simple game like Frogger, or Shooting arrows into a target, it would be nice to make it club related. Perhaps a 2D driving game driving the route of the Southsea Cruise, where you have to pick up fuel, or nitro boosts. Of course the score gets submitted to the high score table.
I would be writing it in Adobe Flash, as most of the games in the arcade in the forum are written in that format, and i know its possible to submit a high score, although not sure how to yet, but all that will come on my journey of learning.
As not everyone likes driving games perhaps we should do some sort of puzzle game like candy crush. Perhaps have a few games over time. Each having the club logo on it, who knows perhaps many people not on the forum will want to play it and sign up to the forum.
