... A camera system that sits in the car and automatically begins recording if motion is sensed. For example someone bumps the car or attempts to break in. I also want it to have cellular connectivity and an iOS app so that I am alerted to the movement and can watch what's going on.

Sounds handy, I don't know of anything yet. My Roadhawk comes on with ignition, and records extra files when a bump is felt. I guess it you rigged it up to permanent live it would over write files and when a bump is felt it stores that file separate that wont be overwritten. However would be drawing a bit of power, and doesn't give you cellular access.

would need a wide angle lense as well. and mybe sound as well?
