International Classic Car Show 2017

The famous Isle of Wight, Charity Classic Car event promises to be the biggest and best ever. Vehicles from all over the UK and mainland Europe will be attending this unique two-day show on the 16th & 17th September 2017.


Saturday 16th September - the show will be located at the characterful Newport Quay.


Sunday17th September - the show will be held on the beautiful and exotic Ryde Esplanade.


Both shows will be FREE to attend.

Haven't been over to the island in many years. Not since 1991 I think!

We are booked for this show again this year. We always have a fantastic time. There is such a wide range of classic cars on both days but the Sunday is particularly great as they try to group all of the american rides together. We take friends and rent a house for a long weekend. Really looking forward to it.

I have my ferry ticket, and will be there just for the Saturday.

A great show, met up with few others at 7:30 on museum road Portsmouth, to then convoy to the ferry port. All drove on together, and drove off together. We had a plan to all drive together to Newport, however there was a Police woman waiting for me. Pulled me over out of the convoy. She said my car was flagged up in Portsmouth for having no insurance. I was sure I renewed it, its automatically done. MOT and TAX was all up together. However on the insurance database it does not show that I am insured. She done a bit of investigating, and indeed it came back i am totally legal, I am insured, its just not showing up on the national database. So panic over.She then gave me a police escort to the car show.
