After teasing us with an elaborate sketch, Mercedes has finally revealed the C-Class Cabriolet ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. And besides the fairly obvious addition of a folding fabric top, pretty much everything is as per the Coupe.That means many four-cylinder engines to choose from two of them diesels plus a couple of sixes. No news yet of a C63, so for now the hottest Cabrio is an AMG-lite, the C43. It has a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 with 362bhp, plus 4MATIC all-wheel drive and a few other clever bits and pieces borred from the C63.0-62mph takes 0.1s longer than the equivalent Coupe, which isn"t half bad considering all the extra weight you"re no doubt carting around.Britain loves a cabrio, and Britain is quite cold, so keeping you warm is Merc"s optional Airscarf system, which blows hot air onto the back of your neck as you drive along. Aircap, meanwhile, is a kind of draught stop built into the windscreen frame. It deploys at the same time as a second screen behind the rear seats to reduce cabin turbulence, keeping occupants" hair in good form.
