If the Ferrari F8 Tributo occupies a slot in your lottery-win garage, we have good news. Ferrari has launched a configurator for its (not quite) brand-new mid-engined model, letting mere mortals not possessing of the 200,000-plus required to buy one have a play around with different colour, wheel and trim options. The F8 uses the same 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 as the car it replaces - the 488 GTB. A 50bhp increase brings it to 710bhp in all; identical to the McLaren 720S with which it competes. Weight is down by 40kg to 1,330kg dry, and various bits of aero have been borrowed from the astonishing 488 Pista. The result is 0-62mph in 2.9secs, 0-124mph in 7.8secs and a top speed of 211mph. The latest versions of Ferrari"s driver assistance systems supposedly make all that power easier than ever to access, too.
