Hi, anyone know what sort of jack fits the Saleen Mustang 2005, I assume standard GT had scissor jack but because of the Saleen skirts not sure that would work, unless anyone knows otherwise. A standard bottle jack and trolley jack are to high to get under. Just ordered a low level 2 ton trolley jack but can't carry that around in the boot, its 35kg lol....Thanks in advance
If you are running 20" wheels your spare space saver will not work as it's 17 or 18" but your body kit should leave enough room for supplied jack to clip onto ford metalwork.

didn't think of the space saver being smaller!!(just checked it, its 16", why would they put a 16" when the Saleen comes standard with 19"???) thanks for pointing that out, I'm going to be stuck if I get a puncture . Been trying to find another one of the wheels i have, but seems only available in US, they are called Hyper Mesh 2's "Proposal to new age" (who calls wheels that lol...) by Stern.
The wheel tyre that's in the tyre well is for a standard S197 an is an space saver new mustangs and a lot of new car's now don't get supplied with space saver or normal size spare they get a can of tyre weld,
The two wheeltyre combo here for the saleen and possible for the roush and mybe gt500 that have the big 20" are total differant . So i have taken my spare out as it cant be used and brought a spare 20" wheel with right pcd spacing and .ok it's not a saleen 20" wheel but dose it matter no (check out uk car's that have alloy's fitted as standard the spare is a steel wheel) it's a spare it will do the job and i don't need to worry if i had a space saver that did fit as you would be restricted on speed ,
I brought a 20" wheel from Northants tyres i had spare tyres so wasn't a problem with getting new tyres for it, this meens drive normally with out the normal restrictions of a space saver. Vintage tyre, classic and American tyres North Hants Tyres.
The only problem with having a 20" spare is it will not fit in spare wheel well so i now use that as the storage space and put the spare wheel in the boot still have space around wheel for stuff..
If you wanted to go down this route also check that your locking wheel nut and wheels nut fit's the spare as well mine did and wheel cost £120 from memory.
hope this helps?????
