The first round of the 2016 D1 GP took place in Tokyo last weekend. And after two days of smoking around in highly modified Japanese performance heroes, it was Daigo Saito"s highly modified Toyota Chaser that took the top spot.Yup, Saito known of course, for his most excellent drift-spec Lamborghini Murcielago brought along a near 1,000bhp Chaser to fend off things like 1,000bhp R35 GT-Rs, Nissan Silvias and GT86s.He and his team Wanli Fat Five Racing now sit at the top of both the driver and team rankings ahead of the next round, held at the rather delightful Fuji Speedway.Have a click through for the best action from Tokyo, here.
