We know that Land Rovers are made to tackle the toughest environments the world can throw at them, but now a Discovery has hit the mark with some real tough cookies: seven small children. It was the final sign off after more than a million miles of testing for the new Discovery. Land Rover"s designers asked their kids to draw their favourite experiences, activities and animals, and wrapped a pre-production Disco in their artwork. As you might imagine, the kids were quite impressed with the final outcome. The new Discovery, we"re told, has been subjected to Land Rover"s most rigorous development testing ever. Previous incarnations have often been thought of as one of the only cars you"ll ever need, and this new one purports to be even more capable and versatile. More than 35,000 individual parts have been tested to the max, and over a million miles have been racked up by 294 development vehicles.
