This video, posted by YouTube user PMR, and shared in the LS1Tech Kill Stories section by forum member c6ftw features a cammed and bottled C6 Corvette participating in a couple of high speed roll races with a supercharged C7 Corvette.we know that the C6 Corvette is fitted with an LS3 engine which has been enhanced with a BTR Stage 4 camshaft and a 100 shot of nitrous. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. It also appears to have lightweight wheels and sticky tires, but there is no mention of that nor do we know whether or not the C7 Corvette has sticky tires. We do know that the C7 Stingray is an LT1 car with a Procharger D1SC blower and a 7-speed manual transmission. The first race has the two Corvettes going from a 30 mile per hour roll and while the supercharged C7 hangs with the cammed and bottled C6 at first, the older Corvette pulls away a bit each time that the newer Vette shifts. We get to watch this race from inside of each car and in both videos, we can see how badly the C6 beats the C7.Next, the two Corvettes go from a 50 roll. In this race, the C6 quickly jumps out to a lead and continues to pull away. On the final run, another roll race from 50mph, the C7 gets an early lead, but the C6 quickly passes and pulls away.In short, the cammed and bottled C6 Corvette with an LS3 beats the supercharged C7 Corvette with a new LT1 over and over.
