This week"s Kill Stories feature was posted by LS1Tech member VTC_WS6 with a video from his VTCWS6 YouTube channel. It shows a series of roll races between a Corvette, a Camaro and a Mustang all of which are supercharged.The Corvette is a C6 ZR1 has "bolt-ons," a 2.6-inch upper pulley and an E85 tune, makes roughly 650 wheel horsepower. The Camaro is a 6th gen ZL1 with a manual transmission, "bolt-ons" and an E85 tune, resulting in roughly 640 wheel horsepower. The Mustang is a late model (S550) GT with an automatic transmission, more "bolt-ons," a Paxton supercharger and a tune, which at 12psi results in roughly 680 wheel horsepower.On paper, the Mustang has an advantage in power over both of the Chevrolet performance cars in action. It even has an automatic transmission, which makes getting through the gears a little quicker. However, the Corvette has a defined weight advantage over both the Mustang and Camaro, even though it has less power than the Ford.SEE ALSO: Check out the LS1Tech Street Racing & Kill Stories SectionOn the first run, the Corvette loses traction shortly after the initial hit, causing the driver to lift. While the ZR1 would battle back to edge out the Camaro, the Mustang was clearly out ahead on the first race.On the second run, we get a far better look at the full capability of each car, with Corvette ZR1 jumping out to a lead and staying there for a relatively easy win.Finally, the on the third run, the Corvette misses third gear, allowing the Camaro to inch ahead for a second, but the ZR1 quickly blows past once the driver gets the car into gear. Meanwhile, the Mustang was nowhere to be seen on this run and on the rear-view, we can see that the Mustang dropped way behind the other two cars for an unknown reason.So, not surprisingly, when the power levels are all in the same basic ballpark, a C6 Corvette ZR1 will knock off a 6th gen Camaro ZL1 and a blown S550 Mustang in a high speed roll race.
