This week"s Kill Story was originally posted to the forum in a thread by “03_Z06”, who shared a video from the Eddie Spade YouTube channel showing his 2008 Corvette taking on a Suzuki Hayabusa in a pair of highway roll races. The Hayabusa is one of the quickest motorcycles on the street and this big Suzuki will chew up and spit out most high performance cars, but as the video above shows a twin turbo C6 Corvette proves to be a worthy adversary. The CompetitorsThis video showcases a 2015 Suzuki Hayabusa and a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z51.We don"t know how much the exhaust helps the Hayabusa, but in stock form, the motorcycle offered 197 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque. That doesn"t sound like much, but for such a lightweight vehicle, nearly 200 horsepower makes it one of the best-performing super bikes in the world. The Vette is powered by a built LS3, featuring worked cylinder heads, a Pat G camshaft, a beefed-up fuel system and a pair of 5871 turbos from UPP. We don"t know how much power the C6 is making, but this boosted V8 packs enough power to make this Vette a monster on a high speed run. Since the video footage isn"t very clear in this video, we looked around the YouTube channel for a picture of the Corvette in action and we came up with this daylight image from a video where it is racing a C7.The BattleThe video above shows two races between the 2015 Hayabusa and the 2008 Corvette. On each run, the two go from 50 and on each run, the Corvette takes the win.The motorcycle does a nice job of keeping up on the first run, forcing the Chevy to work for the win, but on the second run, the bike disappears as soon as the Corvette owner puts the hammer down.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Join the LS1tech forums today!Tags: c6 corvette, Corvette, Kill Stories, LS3, Video
