so went out today to get normal boring shopping done and some diy bits . Traffic police with hand helds camera in Longfield drive fareham ( they were there yesterday too ) parked up and using the rear exit gate of collingwood. drove down to lee on solent and a camera van parked on the grass verge near to the junction of cherque farm road and the new college. got home found i needed some more bits re the job im doing and started off for stubbington . yep you guessed it the camera van now parked on grass verge on the sea front road near to the sailing club .
I am all for the police doing their bit for speed but come on they saturated the area and in the name of road safety ? no i suspect that the budgets are cut and they need the return of work and the revenue it brings in . I wonder how long i could park my car with all four wheels on the grass verge on the sea front before gosport council or a PCSO came along to move me on ??? ... beware they are about and hungry for your cash and points .
