Lamborghini has unveiled a new special edition Aventador SVJ. It’s called the Xago Edition, and it marks the launch of the supercar company’s virtual Ad Personam studio, which offers online consultation for those looking to personalise their new Lamborghini.
Production of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition is limited to just 10 units, and it’s only available for those that use the brand’s new online service. It features a handful of bespoke exterior and interior design elements, with a hexagonal theme running throughout the additions.
• Best supercars on sale now
The Xago Edition Aventador features a unique hexagonal pattern livery for the doors, front wings and haunches. Each example also comes with a new set of gloss black alloy wheels, while the front splitter, door mirrors, diffuser, side skirts and spoiler are finished in a colour of the buyer’s choice.
Inside, there’s a new hexagonal pattern for the seat upholstery and the car’s interior trim is painted to match the colour of the exterior highlights. There’s also a numbered plate for the dashboard, which marks each example’s position in the build series.

The Xago Edition is powered by the same naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine as the standard Aventador SVJ, which develops 760bhp and 720Nm of torque. The unit sends drive to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox – offering a 0–62mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed in excess of 217mph.
Lamborghini’s Ad Personam studio
Lamborghini’s new online Ad Personam studio builds on the brand’s existing, physical Ad Personam customisation service. Like the existing programme, it’s designed for buyers who want to personalise their Lamborghini – but the online service forgoes the need for customers to visit the Italian firm’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
It’s a more personalised version of a conventional online configurator. Buyers can book a video call slot with a team of Lamborghini specialists, who walk them through various customisation options available for their specific Lamborghini. Once the call ends, Lamborghini’s representatives will then send the buyer an itemised proposal, which includes design sketches and material samples.
