Here we have my fabulous Lincoln Continental from 1978. Lincolns are my favourite car of all time and I will be very sad to see her go but a change of circumstances force her regrettable sale.<br />

She is fitted with the awesome 460ci (7.5 litre) v8.... the engine runs sweet with no funny noises, smoke, rattles, knocks or bangs. No blowing from the exhaust or manifolds. The engine is mated to a C6 3 speed auto gearbox which again works as it should and changes up / down as it should with sillky smooth changes and the kick-down works as it should. <br />

On the road she drives like a Lincoln should, no knocks or bangs, steering and brakes are good.<br />

Inside is a great place to be, with the 8 track playing or listening to 70"s hits on the radio you are transported right back to 1978....seats ( driver and passenger all electric) headlining, dash, door cards are all in excellent condition the carpets are also good with only the drivers footwell showing signs of age / use. All the glass is good and all electric windows work as does the original Cartier clock...<br />

The bodywork is also very good, this is probably owning to her first uk owner who had her for 25 years (1990-2015) and kept her garaged, all the chrome and trims are good, there is nothing missing or broken. There is some minor bubbling on the top of the rear quarters by the bottom of the vinyl roof trim and a couple of minor bubbles on the roof again by the vinyl roof trim...The vinyl roof is also good with only one minor split at the bottom of the rear window...... The paint looks good and has a nice shine to it and it and has not been polished for the photos so it will look even better after a day of polishing.... The bonnet however has gone flat and looks like it"s been washed with a Brillo pad!!! The only other blemish is a very small knock on the tip of the drivers side front wing just above the light cluster...let"s please remember she is 39 years old.<br />

She is MOT"d till the 29th of November and has no advisorys... <br />

Over all a fabulous car that turns heads where ever she goes and always attracts a crowd, in fact while I was taking these pictures today other people stopped to take pictures and ask questions!!!! <br />
