For sale is a beautiful 1978 Lincoln Continental Bill Blass edition finished in a deep dark red (looks black in day light) and fitted with Lincoln turbine alloys with whitewall tyres as standard. <br />
The car is fitted with the 6.6 V8 engine option and has only covered just over 60,000 miles from new and the body is in very good original condition for age.<br />
The Continental is not due for a MOT until 3/4/2017 and passed the previous MOT with no problems. Previous MOT"s and receipts etc are included. All 4 whitewall tyres are very good.<br />
The car has a few minor faults which can be easily addressed by somebody with knowleodge. These are;<br />
1 - General wear to the leather on the drivers seat. Seat electrics work perfectly.<br />
2 - Drivers electric window motor does not operate fully (window will partially open & close)<br />
3 - A few weeks ago, the inner passenger door handle stopped operating. Door can be locked & unlocked with key and opened via outside handle with no problems.<br />
4 - Foot brake (handbrake) does not operate correctly. Normal brakes function perfectly well. Car does not move when parked on a hill when gear is in the Park position.<br />
5 - Radio aeriel is operated by a switch inside the car, which does not seem to function. could be as simple as a fuse or maybe a new aeriel would be required, if desired.<br />

The car was inspected and valued by Adrian Flux insurers for the sum of 7500 in it"s current condition (including worn seats & minor faults as listed above).<br />

The car starts, drives & stops very nicely. Apart from the above minor faults, it is in very good origianl condition condition for age.<br />

The car is for sale and has to be one of the best priced Continentals currently for sale in the UK. Car is also advertised elsewhere so may be removed from Car & classic.<br />
