Liphook Carnival it is always held the nights the Clocks go back (27th October) and they would like to ask if The Solent Renegades would be interested in attending the event and taking part in the procession. It happens in the evening and has been going for over 100 years and is attended by over 300 people.

I'm up for this. As soon as i have more info I'll post it.

More info

On the day all floats and carnival entrants line up from about 1630-1700 there are lots of people who walk about and look at all the floats we then have judging of all the different categories at 1730. At 1830 the carnival queen gets crowned and at 1900 the procession moves off around Liphook, this normally lasts for about an hour depending on how many entrants we have.

They have a facebook page:- Liphook Carnival & Bonfire Committee - Home | Faceboo
Website if:- Home | Liphook Carniva

i am up for this, like the idea of doing the procession

Yeah could be a nice one to do.

I quite like the Petersfield show, where we park up for the day, and we leave in a procession with public lining the streets to watch.

There is also a show in Horsham that I'll try to get more details about and how to enter.

i go to watch Glastonbury carnival every year. the motley crew head the procession, the bikes are covered in lights and the riders dress in a theme. great show and i think i want
to do that
