Boutique supercar companies are springing up now more than ever, and most of them are coming from Italy. Mazzanti is one of those examples, and while they have been around for a few years, their newest quest gives them a particularly snazzy title. They are aiming to have their LS7 based Evantra Millecavalli become the most powerful street car that’s ever come out of Italy.Based off of a heavily modified LS7, the Millecavalli dispatches 1,000 horsepower to just the rear wheels. Millecavalli, which quite literally translates to “one thousand horses,” uses a twin turbo LS7 block, with compression of 9:1, and titanium innards throughout. Mazzanti claims there’s a lot of motorsport inspired parts in the car, but insists that it has been modified to the point where it does not share parts with other manufacturers. The chassis is unique to Mazzanti, with a mid engine configuration and only a paddle shift sequential gearbox on offer. Built in small numbers of just 25, over the course of the next five years, exclusivity is guaranteed. That exclusivity comes at a price: if you can get on the list, you’ll be shelling out Nearly $900,000 USD.Chime in with your thoughts on the forum. >> #gallery-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-2 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-2 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */ <br style="clear: both" /> <br style="clear: both" /> <br style="clear: both" />
