There are plenty of platforms begging for the power, reliability, and build-ability of the LS V8. One of the most fun platforms is, of course, the Mazda RX-7. Why worry about apex seals and poor fuel economy when you can just drop-kick the rotary motor into the trash can, then drop in some V8 goodness? The Hoonigan crew certainly know a thing or two about LS swaps, so they invited Harrison Johnson and his second-gen RX-7 out to their “Secret Shredhouse” in Austin, Texas for a master class on LS badassery. #gallery-3 { margin: auto; } #gallery-3 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-3 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-3 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */ <br style="clear: both" />

Know a chap in the US who has done an LS swap into a slightly later RX7. Awesomely fast car....
The original Mazda boat anchor is best replaced with something that actually produces power and doesn’t have to lie about its displacement to make itself sound healthy.
