In the past I used to send out an email of the list of events to keep people updated with whats coming up.

This list was sent to everyone who signed up to the forum. Due to the GDPR I cant really use this list anymore, as there wasn't a message in there to say you were signing up to receive events emails.

So, I will be starting to send out emails again, but to a much reduced list of people. Only people who say they wish to receive this events list.

That’s a GDPR compliant approach if:
1. You keep a record of people asking the events list
2. Each mail you sends tells people how to unsubscribe
3. The recipients email addresses are hidden

Yes, I'll keep a record of all who asked to be on the mailing list.
Each email will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
The emails are send individually so no other person email address will be on there.
