Here are my pictures from the little show near us today.

Not many American vehicles - lots of English classics!

Felt very out of place to be honest!

Nice pics. I see mustangs, good to see they are all Lefties. Great show of classics.

What would be good is if we can overrun it with yanks next year - perhaps the renegades could come up this way and show them what we are made of - good idea or not lol?

Well its certainly worth putting the word out. Some will travel. Especially if nothing else on. If it's the same day next year it may clash with petersfield. I like traveling a bit, Abbott's Ann is a nice one to do, gives the car a run.

5 american car's very good mix of cars on the uk front i even had a marina estate well ok that explains alot lol, did like the mag wheels on the red pony

It amazes me. we have been to shows that are advertised as and run for American vehicles but they still welcome and have trophies for best non-American. Yet the snobbery exhibited by the British classic car mob towards the American cars is evident and they make no effort to hide it.
Not just this show but others we have attended too..... oh, well, can you park it over there (away from the rest of us...)

The best car for me was the LS3 powered Cobra - the level of workmanship and skills in building, were exceptional and the attention to detail was exquisite. Not sure the person who drove it did the work (in fact I would be really surprised) but really nicely done.
The worst car was the TVR Cerbera. A factory stock car that had no attempt at uniqueness - might as well have been in a TVR dealership circa 2003. Bland! Boring!

Still it was a nice day out and organisers of the show were very complimentary towards the TATA, as were the general public. Had a chat with a couple of the Mustang owners but never found the owners of the Chevy.
