This week"s Throwback video features the video which introduced the world to the 1971 Chevrolet Camaro. The Camaro was new for 1970, so 1971 brought about the second year of the second generation Camaro, but General Motors was looking to improve their popular muscle car as quickly as possible.For the 1971 model year, the Camaro got new bucket seats with integrated headrests, a cushioned "safety" steering wheel and for 1971, all Camaro engines were more environmentally friendly. Most importantly, the 1971 Camaro maintained all of the features which made the all-new Camaro so popular for 1970.
