Mark Long, one of our newest members has suggested a fantastic idea of going out for a cruise on Sunday evening to Milford-On-Sea.

Most of us that are planning on cruising will be leaving from Can-Am's Independence Day Show And Shine at The Angel Inn.

New Event Marine Resturant and Diner, Hurst Road, Milford-On-Sea are welcoming all that is yank every first Sunday of each month. They have put together an American menu and have '50's and '60's music playing. Parking is free too!!

This will be a lovely detour before heading home after the show. Who's up for it??

(I will post photos of the diner once home :) )

Ah man i can't come that day and can't change it. Never mind.

:( I'm sure we'll do many more as the place looks amazing, and right on the seafront too!!

Mark is also in the process of planning a day7 cruise over to the Isle of Wight this year too!!

Yeah i saw the link Alec put on FB and it looks a real nice place to go to. We could do with something like this on Southsea seafront. The pier perhaps?

Eek!! Isle of Wight ferry and Bazza don't mix. He got scared and broke down the other side last time we went. Missed 3 ferries and eventually managed to crawl on and prayed he would start the other side. They wouldn't let us push him on or off but i guess they have their rules. Saying that this is when we first had him and we have a new engine since then so shouldn't be a problem now. I just have nightmares about that day still lol!!! Bit like you and the hill that jumped out at you that time x

Lol, hopefully Bazza will be relaxed next time ;)

It would be great to have somewhere like that around the corner lol. Well Dean's Diner want us again and Dan is letting them know of 'less busy' dates lol. Only thing is between now and mid September pretty much every weekend has something going on.

Yep, I'm up for this :)

Dean's Diner would be good as we couldn't make it last time. Maybe we should all club together and buy somewhere and do our own diner. However i won't be doing roller skates lol!!!

That could be cool - why not the roller skates - I would lol

What like Hooters? They wear roller skates don't they?

Yeah - that could so Kewl!

I used to roller skate quite a bit when I was younger lol. They were the fashion back in the late 80's :)

I can't roller skate. :( I was always on the back on a horse and roller skates didn't really work growing up on a farm!!

Horses? I'll stick to roller skates.....although horses are fine when there's a fence between me and them :)

went down there last night with mark with our little cruze out nice couple that runs it looks amazing and the up stairs is big and you can see your cars for up there and if you want to brave the climb up the beach will keep ya fit lol but would be a great place to get a cool pic of the car park with all the yanks parked up :)

This was brilliant!!! Lovely cruise down some roads with amazing views. The Marine was so good, unfortunately it rained for a while when we turned up so nobody ventured onto the roof to have their dinner lol. When it stopped Mark took us for a tour of the building and what a brilliant place it is! The views from the roof are incredible, the food/milkshakes were amazing and the staff were all so lovely!! I am very much looking forward to going again!

My photos of the cruise part of the day!
