Hi everyone. So, completely new to the forum. Joined because I'm interested in American pick up trucks. Currently drive an ML420 which is really nice, but can't get the pictures of Dodge Ram 1500s out my head. Got to go look at some and talk to some owners to see what's good and what's not. Trying to find a good Southern region car show for the babk holiday weekend as well

Hi Graham, Welcome to the forum. We have a few members in the club with trucks. Not often on the forum, but real great people to talk to.

As for shows on Bank holiday weekend. I will list what most people from the club are up to, of course people are free to attend what shows they want so some members may be elsewhere.
Friday 28th August - Poole Quay, its american dream evening, you cant get on the quay before 6pm, so best to wait near buy and nip in there before it gets full.
Saturday 29th August - the ferry boat pub are doing an Hawaiian theme all weekend and would like american vehicles, the Saturday it about the only day most can do.
Sunday 30th August - Canamania near Bornemouth, Julians road, Wimborne. 9am-4pm. Meeting at Rownhams Services M27, to leave there at 9.15am.
Monday 31st August - Vistory Wheelers Stanstead park, http://www.solent-renegades.co.uk/content/394-victory-wheelers-hot-rod-custom-2015-a.html

Welcome to the forum!!

I know how you feel, the more I look at Cutlass photos the more I want one :D

:welcome:

Welcome! The Dodge Ram 1500 is a great choice, and will very likely prove cheaper to run than your ML long-term (so you can justify your decision as sensible, and take the plunge).

The current generation is my favourite. You might be aware that from 2011 model year onwards Ram became a brand in its own right, so they are no longer Dodge Rams officially. I especially love the look the new Ram Rebel.
