Bit concerned that all the pictures on their site only show old Mopars at their events and being a new Mopar owner was wondering if there was any point in joining?
Anyone with any experience?

If its free to join, sign up and see what they have to offer. Looking at their Mopar Model Guide | Mopar Muscle Association U they have a range of all ages. I'm sure you will fit in. Remember to keep posting on here, as you are the main contributer, we need more people like you.

It not free, it's £30pa. Not huge but it would be annoying to find that as a modern Mopar owner you are frowned upon by the old school. I hated the Snobbery of the Corvette club so much I sold the car so don't want something similar here.

Don't worry, I will keep posting although it seems recently that less & less people are interested in contributing and makes me wonder why I bother.

Sheep following the facebook world we need to take down facebook for people to come on here.
I often think how to get more people on here. It costs money to keep the website going, and a shame more people don't use it. When i ask people, its not about it difficult to use, its just they seem to sit on faceache all day.
I wonder if some sort of competition would help drive interest.

Can you get on the Mopar forum without signing up with a fee to gauge what people are like?

I used to belong to the AAC too, and they did away with their forum and went Facebook. I will never go Facebook so lost my means of communicating with the club..... end of membership!

Given the recent announcement on Facebooks policy surrounding child abuse, animal abuse, hatred and sexual exploitation I'm surprised that anyone still uses it or allows their kids anywhere near it.

With regards to the MMA, they will be at Brooklands on Saturday and that might be the perfect time to voice my concerns.

Don't think it's just mopar old verses new

think its the generation of that era sometimes that plays apart youngsters more aware of the newer muscle car's be it dodge ford chevy mybe due to computer games more chance of seeing them on the road agianst the older type muscle cars old american cars on the road is less chance but do notice there is more of a liking for the older types of cars mybe 20-30 years down the line the new dodger mustang chevy will have the same following ????
