A handcrafted suede and nappa leather interior, a carbon inlay sports steering wheel, 18-inch OZ Racing alloys and a quad-pipe stainless steel sports exhaust system. A list of basic equipment that, in the past, you"d have expected to be fitted to a sports car - perhaps even a supercar. Not in these tumultuous times though, because all of that kit will come as standard on the new Launch Edition" of the MS-RT Transit Connect. Yep that"s right, Transit as in the van. Now, we might be a little ashamed to admit it, but we can"t help but think the bodykit and racing wheels combo actually look fantastic on the Transit Connect. Why shouldn"t van drivers have a bit of fun? Okay, the four exhaust pipes might be a bit much especially given that the MS-RT is still running the 1.5-litre, 118bhp EcoBlue diesel engine from the standard Transit Connect.
