Mustang Shelby GT350 A Code 1965 Fastback Clone. <br />

Only offered for sale as the owner is reducing his collection.<br />

This 65 Shelby GT350 Fastback Clone is finished in red with the Le-Mans dual White Strip and black trim and features all the correct parts including a 302ci 4V (245.9bhp) engine with roller rockers and Holly Street Avenger carburetor, Pertronix Ignition, side exit exhausts and is a delight to drive.<br />
<br />
The transmission is the Tremec T5 manual 5 speed with a Resto Mod quick shift and competition clutch.<br />
<br />
The rear axle is Ford 9 with a TruLok Differential with 3.50 gearing. <br />
<br />
Steering is powered Rack and Pinion.<br />
<br />
It has an alloy radiator with an electric fan.<br />
<br />
Koni dampers are fitted all round with upgraded springs, and traction bars.<br />
<br />
The car is fitted with power disc brakes all round and wheels by Torque Trust. Tyres are 205-60-15 by Bridgestone.<br />
<br />
The body shell having never been in an accident is very straight and the paint work is in very good order showing slight signs of a gentle patina.<br />
<br />
The car benefits from the usual Shelby modifications such as glassfiber hood (bonnet), brake cooling vents and Shelby gas (petrol) cap.<br />
<br />
The interior is exceptional having fold down rear seats, front seat head rests, a wood rim steering wheel and instruments by Classic Instruments.<br />
<br />
The gearing of 72mph at only 2,500rpm gives great MPG and drivability.<br />
<br />
Although 53 years old, this is a very reliable car having covered less than 24,000 miles since its restoration in 2003.<br />
<br />
The V5 registration document declares Manufactured in 1965 and has an age related registration number of FRR 52C.<br />
<br />
MOT until 7th March 2019. <br />

Shelby GT350 s are commanding increasingly higher values and clones such as this one are following suite. This car not only represents a great investment but also ten times the fun to drive and ownership of a very useable Classic American Car.<br />
