Need a job!

Hi All

Well? I have just been made redundant! :faint2: The American company I work for decided last week to close their UK office. We had suspected that this may be coming for some time but after seventeen years of working for them, the two days notice they gave meant that it came as quite a shock!

To cut to the chase, does anyone have or know of any job vacancies?

I had intended to ask around the club anyway, but thought why not put a posting on here too!

Just to offer a little info about myself, I was an apprenticeship trained electronics engineer in the audio/visual industry, later moving on to service department management and technical customer support in the professional sound industry. I am very adaptable and have gained experience and qualifications in many other things, from plumbing and electrics, to warehouse operations and management, to vehicle repair? (and no comments about how long the Firebird has been off the road either LOL) :tape:

Anyway, thanks for reading this folks and please feel free to reply or message me if you know of anything. All the best.

Cheers
Will

Thanks for the info mate. Yes, thats a good point about telling the agencies that you only want permanent work. I have a mate who was given lots of short contract jobs. Good to have work I guess but as you say, it must be a pain to be changing every five minutes.
Cheers
