Congrats on the purchase and well done for taking the plunge.

The Allante is a fascinating car. The bodies were built by Pininfarina in Italy, where they were completed and trimmed before being air-freighted to Detroit in Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to be mated to their chassis and powertrain. It had ABS as standard from the outset, and was fitted with further enchancements like active suspension in 1989, followed by traction control in 1990. It was the first front wheel drive car to be fitted with traction control, I believe.

And yes, it would be great to see pics!

Will be great to meet you and see the car on Tuesday. Don't be too concerned if you don't see too many american cars in the car park, some people put their cars away for the winter.

Yes sorry if I waffled but I love cars soo much and think it's that I can run a future classic as a toy is great went to bexhill and had such fun listening to the engine forgot to turn the cd on ????????????????????????
