For those who drive into London will be affected by this.

In short, most vehicles currently on the road will have to pay ?12.50 a day to go into the congestion charge zone, 24 hrs a day 7 days a week, from 2020 under these proposals. (this would be on top of existing congestion charge if applicable at that time by the way)

That's going to be a pain for some people, still can't see why you'd want to drive in central London if you could help it?

Especially if you have a car older than 5 years you can't go in.

I prefer to walk in london. If its raining then use the tube. Public transport is okay, and its a good idea to force people too use it. If you take a car in London you remain parked in traffic most of the time anyway, although I drove through there at 1am, and traffic was good, ended up in some dodgy areas though in the Trans-Am.

I've driven through Peckham before.......I really would NOT recommend visiting Peckham!

I never drive into Central London. I always take the train/tubes. Its such a waste of time and parking charges are even more extortionate than First Great Western fares!
I occasionally have to visit a location near the Ace cafe, and I always drive there, even in rush hour. Its so far from the main line and the tubes become a pain at that distance.

Honestly, I was genuinely scared! Not a nice place to be if you're a white female!
