The length of a 1973 Roadrunner is, 203.2 in (5,161 mm), so if you went on the Isle of wight ferry you would have to pay more than most of us as you would be over 5 meters.
A 1968 El Camino is apparently longer than the 73 Road Runner at 208 in (5,283 mm), havn't got lengths of other year El Camino's, I would have thought yours would be smaller than a road runner.Atleast you have a size of the road runner, and I think it would fit on your ramps.
