It"s no great stretch to suggest that amongst the supercar fraternity, Lamborghini stands alone when it comes to having fun. Just take the Aventador, for example. It"s the kind of machine that idealises what people who have never heard of supercars think supercars are like: big, lairy, intimidating looks allied to an engine that makes enough noise to alert neighbouring galaxies. Pure theatre. If it were a dinosaur, it"d be a T-Rex; sure, not the most efficient nor agile dino (poor turning circle, small arms, bless), but it"s a T-Rex.It"s six years old now, having first appeared on our scanners as the 691bhp LP700-4. It"s been refreshed, as you"ve no doubt read on TG, as the Aventador S, which updates the big V12 Lambo with many new and excellent things. But it"s the in-between period we"re concerned with here, because in the six years since the LP700-4 and today"s new S", the Aventador has been having a bit of a party. A list of renegade special edition models that sit outside of the regular" range. So here they are. Unfasten your seat belts and keep your arms and legs outside the carriage
