Not long not till Christmas Celebrations

Just thought I'd start a thread, what's everyone up to for Christmas and new year?

Its that time to be off work, were we have soo much time off work, its hard to know what things around the house to do first. I'm off this whole week, back to work for a couple of days next week then off till next year.

So are we stopping at home for crimbo and boxing day or off to see family? any parties new years eve?

I'm going to attempt a 3 bird roast for the first time, already ordered from the butchers, when I asked how big is it, will it fit in the own, they had an odd grin as if i may have trouble. Its all prepared, they have taken out all the bones, apart from the turkey legs. So comes pre-filled with stuffing, then a small bird, then a bigger bird all inside a turkey. Could be an interesting day, it will take around 4 hours to cook I reckons.

Xmas day is quite - with just the two of us until late afternoon when we will pop round to see Clares family.
Boxing day my parents are round and this is when Christmas dinner will be.
Don't bother with New years Eve etc.....
Working all days in between. Just a couple of long weekends really - suits me, I hate christmas.

got a house full of family on Christmas day looking forward to boxing day at Romsey

Good job I don't have a chimney.....
