RM Sotheby"s is set to auction off six classic performance Fords in August, at its annual Monterey sale in California. But we"re not talking about classic old Escort Cosworths or Fiesta XR2s, but a group containing painfully rare Cobras, Mustangs and a GT40 to top it all off.We suspect this may have piqued your interest. After all, just look at that group shot above? They have been collated by a gentleman named Jim Click. Jim Click ventured into vintage racing in 1991 as a hobby, which ultimately led to the formation of Jim Click Racing, and finally, the Jim Click Performance Collection, a slice of which you see above. It"s a handpicked collection of vintage race cars, all successfully campaigned by Mr Click and his lucky friends.To keep up with the times, Mr Click is downsizing his group, meaning these six classics are now up for grabs. ""It"s time for me to let someone else enjoy the cars like I have," says Click. "They are fantastic cars thoroughly prepared to the extent that we"ve never had a safety issue. Whoever ends up owning them, you"re in for a truly exciting ride.
