Following the success of the 3008 and 5008 SUVs, the 208 supermini continues a strong streak of form for Peugeot. The new model introduced stylish and sporty looks to the competitive supermini class.
Just like the 2008 SUV, the latest 208 benefits from a platform that allows the all-electric e-208 to roll off the production line alongside the combustion-engined versions. The electric powertrain comes in most of the 208’s regular trim levels.
The 50kWh battery enables a maximum range of 217 miles on a single charge, 100kW rapid charging means an 80 per cent top up can be completed in half an hour, while performance is zippy too. The single electric motor develops 134bhp, with 0-62mph taking just 8.1 seconds.
