Recently, we made our childhood dreams real. We got together the six star cars of Gran Turismo, and put them on track together at the same time. You can read exactly what happened in the big Retro supplement that comes with the latest issue of Top Gear magazine, out now. We"re not going to claim we"ve outdone the masters of this sort of thing, Best Motoring. The argument with the BBC health and safety department would have been long and fruitless. But we have driven the Honda NSX, Mazda RX-7, Mitsubishi Evo 6, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Subaru Impreza Turbo and Toyota Supra on the very Gran Turismo-like circuit of Rockingham, picked some favourites, and very nearly bought one. Oops.Tell us which of these would be your choice (in game or in real life, we don"t mind) and then read the full story in Retro, where we"ve also driven a number of other icons from the Sixties through to the Noughties.Share this page: FacebookTwitterGoogle+WhatsAppMailtoCopy link
