The Ford GT is off to Le Mans. And today we learned just who will be aiming to pay nigh on the greatest homage possible to the GT40"s famous 24-hour victory. But there"s a road car too, don"t forget. And we also learned today that it will be more powerful than its endurance racing sibling. Yes, really.Just how powerful is yet to be fully confirmed, but rumours of 630bhp have been circulating online. Power will come from a 3.5-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, and there should be more than enough to go hand-in-hand with the GT"s wild aerodynamic addenda to achieve a top speed comfortably above 200mph.And to celebrate that fact, here"s a rather stylish photo of the new Ford GT slinking around the streets of Paris, some 130 miles north east of the Circuit de la Sarthe, where its racing namesake could make a nice footnote in history come June. It"s safe to assume you"re as excited as we are, right?
