Let me just start this advert by saying that if you are after that V8 burble in a car this advert ISN"T for you.<br />
What we have for sale is a very nice example of a 1972 Plymouth Scamp. The reason there is no V8 burble is because there is no V8 !!! This Scamp is powered by one of Mother Mopars bullet proof Slant 6 engines. This one is the 225 cu in ( 3.7 litre) version. These engines weren"t nicknamed the "Leaning Tower of Power" for nothing. They might not have the power of their bigger V8 brothers but they are more than capable of keeping up with modern day traffic and still have plenty of power on tap, with the added bonus of 28 MPG. The engine is mated to a 904 automatic gearbox. The car also benefits from power brakes and factory A/C.<br />
The car is finished in the original gold with a white roof and off white vinyl interior. The Scamp also looks nice with its set of Mopar Rallye wheels with whiteband tyres.<br />
The body appears to be in very good condition with the exception of the bonnet that has some lacquer peel. Likewise the interior is original and in good condition with the only defect being a rip in the drivers seat back. I am hoping to rectify these issues when the car gets to the UK.<br />
