This car has been 100% reliable in the 2+ years I have owned it, and would have no worries about driving it anywhere. It passed the mot last month with no advisories. The engine and gearbox have no faults apart from a small oil leak from the rocker gasket. The glass is all good with no chips, and the steering and suspension is tiptop too. The chap I bought it from replaced all the braking system including brake pipes, cylinders etc, a few years back and it has a wildwood bias valve fitted too. It has the 8.3/4 axle and is disc brake equipped. All the electrics work fine and I fitted a new battery just before winter. The dashboard has a crack on it that needs repair and I have fitted black vinyl seat covers. I have also installed rear seat belts as I use it as a family car. I painted the car in Ford radiant red cellulose, I gave it lots of coats and its a beautiful colour but a good cut and polish would transform its appearance as its orange peely and a little dull. The body is fair for its age with a few little bits here and there but this is a car that has always been In use to my knowledge. The underside is good and was treated to a wire brushing and painting to keep it in good shape.
I"m selling her for money towards home improvements, so please no trades. You are welcome to come a view and try her out, as I say this is a rare old car in the fact that you really can fire it right up whatever the weather and go anywhere with no faffing about or worries.
The car is located in the Sutton Coldfield area of Birmingham B74.
