Last we heard, Polestar was being split off as a separate marque to deliver wondrous stuff like the Polestar 1 hybrid sports car. Seems it can"t resist tinkering with Volvos, though, and its latest mod is very interesting. Volvo"s describes it as "Polestar-developed software upgrade that increases torque distribution to the rear wheels of Volvo cars equipped with all-wheel drive, for more dynamic driving." In the layman"s terms we need, Polestar"s making Volvos more fun.
