In the hands of the vendor over the last 5 years, this superb 1980 Pontiac Firebird has been subject to a long series of improvements with not many areas not receiving some sort of attention. The most noticeable of which, apart from its overall excellent condition, is the fitting of a 5 speed manual gearbox.<br />
<br />
Along with the Tremec TKO600 5 speed gearbox, the 5.7 V* received new Edelbrock E- Street cylinder heads & push rods, starter motor, clutch and alternator, and breathing out through a one off custom made exhaust, it sounds awesome! The rear axle was refreshed with a reconditioned differential more suited to holding on to all the extra power being produced. All of this covering less than 2,000 miles since.<br />

Interior is immaculate. The gauges and dash have been re-furbished and a Auto Sound period looking stereo head unit fitted with iPhone & usb connection fitted and 6 9 hidden speakers. Outside the Headlamps are UK spec beam pattern, sidelights, marker lights are all fitted with LED bulbs while the tail lamps have been modified to take full LED circuit board for stop/tail & red indicators, separate switch to use amber indicators for on the road use.<br />

The exterior bodywork in very good condition, yes there are a few very minor bits if being very honest but nothing that takes your eye away from the deep black shine. The snow flake alloy wheels are in very good condition and shod with matching BF Goodrich tyres all round all with 7/8mm of tread.<br />

The whole car just looks stunning and sounds awesome, it is comfortable and is a pleasure to drive, you could be in it all day no problem. Cared for and stored inside and only used in dry conditions. There will be a fresh MOT carried out prior to sale and please note The vehicle will be re-registered with a age related number plate.
