Genuine 1966 Pontiac GTO, factory finished in fountain blue
This rust-free LHD model was imported directly from the USA in April 2014. Prior to being imported it was upgraded in 2000 with a powerful 455 big block engine and a 4 BRL Roschester Quadrajet carb but the original 389 Tri power unit is also included in this sale.
Other extras comprise door panels, seat covers, original stereo and many other parts.
The car has front and rear disc brakes and a high grade aluminium radiator.
Since arriving in the UK, it has been very carefully inspected and checked to ensure that everything is working correctly.
This has entailed:
Removing and stripping out the engine
Replacing the damaged camshaft, followers and cam bearing set
Replacing the big and little end bearings
Fitting an upgraded roller rocker assembly
Replacing the timing chain and sprockets
Rewiring the engine bay
Removing the dashboard to ensure all gauges work properly
Adjusting the brakes and suspension
Overall, the car is in very good condition and comes with a full MOT.
It is garaged in central London, and an inspection is highly recommended
