The Autumn Classic is the last heat for the prestigious American ‘Car of the Year’ competition. The winning car will receive a cheque at Prescott for £100 and a 'Car of the Year' trophy presented by Editor Ben Klemenzson on the Start line on the Sunday. The heat winner will be invited to display their car on the Classic American stand at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at The NEC, Birmingham in November, plus have a feature in the magazine.

It’s a great day out for the family y’all!

Advance tickets cost £15 per day or £25 for the weekend, on-the-gate prices are £20 and £35 respectively.

One for the calender dan please,

We did this once, never again.

We were pre-entered but despite this they gave away the spaces to the classic English crowd, and directed us to the public car park. After complaining they eventually relented but of course that didn't free up any spaces so I was directed into a field where I promptly sank up to the axles in mud, not pleasant in a lowered Trans Am. I eventually freed the car, got my money back and left.
Talking with others who did manage to get the spots they were supposed to have, the day was full of the Marshalls complaining about all the space the American cars were taking up and constant requests and demands to move it so that they could put something they deemed more interesting in its place.

Never, ever again would I grace that the place with my presence or car unless Chip Foose himself buys the place and runs it!

I'm so wanting to use foul language in this response, that's the feelings the memories conjour up.

In the words of mickeal winner ' calm down dear'

How long ago was this A/T, ? did get any bad feeling year from other forum reports and as it now looks more american might be better?

Oh. Not Michael Winner perhaps? If it's Michael Winner I know him as a film producer, movies like the Death Wish septology ( or however many it went too!)
Funny how people are known for different things to different people.
