This Corvette Z06 was participating in a burnout competition, during which the car allegedly hits 200+ miles per hour wheel speeds. Really, the speedometer may have topped 200 during the burnout, but that really doesn"t matter. What does matter is that this Corvette Z06 does one wicked burnout while battling for a free set of tires. We know from the details that it has been fitted with a supercharger from the folks at ProCharger. So the original output of 505 horsepower is little more than a dream for this Chevy supercar. We also know that this Corvette has a set of custom wheels and it seems a little louder than a stock Corvette Z06, so it likely has some sort of aftermarket exhaust system working to reach the stated output of 700+ horsepower.Look closely and you’ll notice the car is sitting on a steel plate and it appears to be tethered to that plate, giving the Z06 a nice smooth surface on which to spin its tires. Tow straps prevent the car from pulling a Mustang maneuver during the tire slaying action. Basically, this is a supercharged Corvette Z06 on a smooth, slick surface, with 700+ horsepower and no chance to move. It really is the ideal situation for smoking the tires.10 seconds in and there is so much smoke that we can barely see the car. By the 20-second mark, the smoke is so thick that we don"t see the car again until the burnout ends. In the end, this burnout was good enough for the owner to win a free set of tires, in addition to making for one great burnout video so crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: Burnout Fridays, c6, c6 corvette, Corvette, Corvette Z06
