Rally of the Giants this weeked - 25th/26th July

I will be going to the Rally of the Giants on Sunday - which is my favourite American car event. The best American car show in the country in my opinion, as you see cars there that you won't see anywhere else - with the emphasis on pre '59 classics.

It's held at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire - which is just a run up the A34. Anyone else going?

The owner of the Firehawk for sale will be there. I won't be.

Sounds like a great event. I've heard about it in the past where people has talked about it, but never gotten around to find out what time of the year its on.
I've popped it in the diary now.

Its probably the closest to home of all the shows, and yet I've never been.
Its the emphasis on cars from eras that I personally find less interesting.
Billing is far more my scene as the vehicles are more relevant to me.
But I'm sure you will have a great day, and remember hoto: or it didn't happen!!

I will certainly be taking my camera! While the emphasis is on pre '59 cars (the event is run by the Pre '50 AAC) they welcome all American cars.

How did this event go? the rain put a downer on a few other shows, hopefully better weather was present at this large event.

Weather was appalling but turnout was pretty good!
