With regret, We are having to sell my son"s 1986 Buick Skylark 2500cc as he has relocated abroad! I"m hoping that someone can love it as much as he has. To our knowledge it is the only Skylark on the roads in the UK today, is in great working order, and would be a great car to take to shows.<br />

The car is mechanically sound and solid, and is an extremely comfy ride and, for an American car, it"s relatively economical too, achieving around 28mpg as he"s been driving it. It"s currently MOTed and is currently SORN since my son went abroad (April 2018).<br />
<br />
Worthy of note:<br />
> the car has a full year MOT (September 2019)<br />
> recently been fitted with:<br />
+ a new steering rack<br />
+ new brake hoses<br />
+ new tires<br />
+ a new battery<br />
+ new front seat belt reels<br />
> the car has also had some welding on back wheel arches<br />
<br />
It has the original interior (apart from the new radio, which has been wired up to the speakers) and is relatively low mileage for its age (110,779 km).<br />
<br />
A few down sides:<br />
> air conditioning not functioning<br />
> cruise control stalk is snapped and needs replacing<br />
> there is a dent in front O/S door and door pillar<br />
> showing signs of rust on the doors bottoms and wings, but all quite fixable<br />
<br />
Spare parts are available on rockauto.com, which has been my son"s trusty source for the past two years, which is surprisingly cost-efficient.<br />
<br />
A perfect car for a person that likes to attract attention with economical benefit, or for someone that is looking for a Starter American car to take to shows.<br />
