Well went outside this morning to feed the birds and gather some logs for the log burner and looked at river and saw that the river is starting to freeze,

yes the herion was around the other week looking for food big birds when they take flight,

Some good lumps of ice in it now, won't be long before that is solid.

well the river today has even more frozen area's got home from work as had to be towed up valley hill as van couldn't make it though the snow drifts it was fun sliding all over the road the 4wheel pick up truck did well,

walked up to the river bridge down the lane today this feeds into my river,
update on my river progress today bit of a thaw in some places but then frozen in other places,less of of a wind chill in the air,
and just for you chris some sheep on the valley hill
