A great actor, known for Bond as well as many other roles.
A great loss.

yes very sad indeed , the only proper Bond in my opinion ...english debonair and very suave as commander bond was english in flemings books .... not scottish , irish or australian !!
I remenber seeing him driving a white rolls royce smoking a big lardy on Jersey in 1974 . He lived on jersey for some years . cant believe hes gone .

The tongue in cheek humour was cheesy but fun ....... I trust you slept well Mr Bond ? .....well I tossed around for a bit but eventually I got off !!!!! RIP

My personal favourite is Daniel Craig. He is definitely the closest to the character that Fleming wrote about.
But Roger was my 2nd favourite.
