Not a good idea. Did we have a similar discussion when the Mustang brand was going to be a Hybrid.

I'm definitely in the minority, but it wouldn't matter if I had £20m in the bank. You could keep all the ultra exotic HyperCars with 2000hp. For me there's nothing like the sound of an American V8!
But i would own more than a few!!

I generally have no problem with Hybrids, but in a Corvette it seems unnecessary.

Agreed, there is a sort of car that needs it, muscle and sports cars are not that sort.

And to add further fuel to this fire, I'm also reading that the C7 ZR1 will return with a normally aspirated Dohc v8, and that GM are still working on a mid engine Corvette. Given that the ZR1 will need to produce more HP than the supercharged Z06 and would likely fit the C7 model line up, i.e. Front engined, where does the mid engine fit with the possibility of a hybrid?

On consideration, just give me a Challenger Hellcat or Demon!
